We explored the classroom and outdoor area to see what different materials we could find. We wrote labels to tell people what things were made out of. We also used magnets to find magnetic objects. During the week, we had a letter from a mermaid. Some scales had fallen off of her tail and she needed a waterproof bandage. We tested lots of options and discovered that plastic was waterproof, and would work best as a bandage for her tail. We wrote her a letter and sent her the bandage.
