The School Council, with support from Abigail Grenfell, planned and organised a number of exciting activities with the support of the staff, parents and pupils to help fundraise for Children In Need. A number of spotacular ideas, including decorating the whole school in spots, spotty fancy dress, hula-hoop games and a giant coin Pudsey, ensured that the school raised an impressive total of £490. A special mention to the Smith family, particularly Katie (Ash Class) and Maggie (Oak Class) who took it upon themselves to do some extra fundraising around the village. Armed with only a Pudsey money box and persuasive smiles, the girls contributed a whopping £100 to the school total. What a wonderful effort! |
