Apple Class have been studying Maya writing. Their books are called codices and so we tried to create our own codex. We wrote a Maya themed myth and then created the symbols needed to retell the myth using block printing. This involves etching a picture into polystyrene and then covering it with ink. We then carefully added these symbols onto aged paper to create our codex.
