In a first for sport at Chesterton, our very first equestrian team took part at an event during February half-term.
We had a quartet of Eleanor Messum (Year 5), Esme Queralt (Year 4), Georgina Hales (Year 2) and James Hales (Year 2) for the Grassroots Qualifier.

In the first class, the team managed a win!
Individual results were as follows:
2nd Eleanor, 4th James, 5th Georgina, 6th Esme
In the second class, we had a team of 3: Eleanor, Esme and Georgina. They managed another win and Georgina came 5th individually!

Most importantly, everyone had fun and enjoyed trying something new! They had four out of four clear rounds in the first class; they all rode well and are all improving, which is brilliant.
