Nov 2016: Careful Driving Poster Competition
Many of our pupils took part in a Parish Council competition to design a poster on 'Speed Awareness'. Entrants were asked to design a poster that encourages drivers to reduce their speed in the village. The competition was open to all children aged 4-11 years old.
The winning designs were chosen by a panel of judges and the overall winner has been presented with a £10 book voucher. Their poster will also be printed and displayed around the village to remind people to drive safely and stick to the speed limit.
2nd and 3rd placed entries won a £5 book voucher each and will also have their posters displayed around the village.
1st Prize: Eleanor Messum (Age 4) Maple Class
2nd Prize: Jack Happell (Age 7) Ash Class
3rd Prize: Walter Lane-Fox (Age 6) Beech Class
