On Friday 18th May, Chesterton's enthusiastic footballing girls enjoyed a lunchtime training session from Oxford United Women's goalkeeper, Demi Lambourne and fellow WSL player Sahara Osborne-Ricketts. A huge number of girls, from Year 3-6, were put through their paces with some dribbling and close control, before finishing with some small-sided games under expert supervision. The coaches were impressed with the enthusiasm of our girls to improve their football skills, not to mention some impressive goals from Maggie, Kat and Mellody. Everyone had a great time and we hope to welcome Demi and Sahara back at some point in the near future. In the meantime, keep an eye out for coaching courses that Flare Football offer.
