There may not have been the customary displays on the 5th November, but there were still fireworks on the Chesterton football pitch as Miss Phillips' and Miss Claridge's teams did battle for the second time in the Autumn Term. There were a few new players, with many Year 1-3 girls keen to make their first appearance, but the quality was still high in another closely fought match. Evelyn Wyatt and Emilia Brayshaw, fresh from their goalscoring debuts in September, found the net again for Miss Claridge's blues. However, Miss Phillips' pinks came out on top with a first goal from the energetic Nikola Rys and two fine captain's strikes from Connie Brennan.
