On a sunny, but very chilly, Sunday morning a merry band of over 30 Junior Parkrunners from Chesterton took part at Whitelands running track. Although a few had attended before, most were making their Parkrun debut and showed great enthusiasm and determination despite the sub-zero temperatures! Mr Horner and Ivy were there to cheer the competitors on - they even did most of the run themselves with the buggy! Hopefully, the pupils will be back for another go in the coming weeks and Chesterton will certainly make another 'team appearance' in the spring. House points were awarded to every participant. Well done everyone!
